This day retreat is designed to infuse your entire body and mind with a deeply nourishing experience, integrating different disciplines to awaken your body and uplift your spirit. A complete practise that promotes health and harmony throughout. A day that emphasis good health and a clear mind. This will be an invigorating experience and one not to miss!
Dharma Yoga - Dharma Yoga is a modern interpretation of classical Eight-limbed or Hatha-Raja Yoga, deeply rooted in ethical precepts that includes elements of flowing Vinyasa, inversions and held poses that will help you to discover concentration, meditation, abiding contentedness and deep healing relaxation. A complete practise with forward bends, back bends, twists and inversions, pranayama & relaxation.
Yin, Yoga Nidra & Sound bowls - This nourishing and restoring session will have you deeply relaxed and by the end you will leave feeling like you are floating. Through this session you will be guided through meditation, breath-work to help ease the body into stillness, gentle shifting through various yin postures to help open up and release by tapping into any physical and mental tension. Concluding with yoga nidra and the sounds of the crystal singing bowls to infuse your entire body in a deeply healing and nourishing experience.
ITINERY
11:00am - Arrival, welcome drink, meet & greet, intention setting.
11:30am - Dharma Yoga - we kick off our day with an energising yoga class, set to invigorate your whole body and quieten your mind. This dharma yoga session intends to stretch, energise and strengthen the entire physical body and help find concentration mentally.
1:00PM - Lunch - expect to be fed a delicious array of nutritious food to stimulate your senses. The extended lunch gives you the opportunity to explore in nature, or relax and play within the kip & nook workshop.
2:30pm - Yin Yoga - we balance the day from the yang to the yin. This style of practise is a slower-paced, more meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. The poses are held with the muscles fully relaxed, allowing time and gravity to deepen the stretch and target the fascia. The time spent holding these asanas is similar to meditation.
3:40pm - Yoga Nidra & Sound healing - infuse your entire body in a deeply healing and nourishing experience.
4:15pm - Afternoon treats - we close the day with a plant-based dessert & refreshment, the perfect way to wind down after a wholesome day, because who wants to leave straight away?
